Dear Didier, many congratulations to your website.

It looks and works very professional and a lot of clubs could use one similar to yours.

The front window and the back window are the original ones.

It even carries it sticker from the Belgian Royal Automobile Club junior racing class. We have not been able to find out the origin of the front window.

As to the back window this is made of Plexi and must have been a very revolutionary material back in 1954! It is still the original one and although it shows quite some micro cracks i preferred to have this one kept in its placce.

Didier :

Work is meticulous

Bruno :

What is very interesting to mention is that this must have been the first Austin-Healey with roll-up windows.

The mechanism used is the one from a Citroen Traction. This is quite logical as d'Ieteren who build the car was also a major Citroen dealer at the time.We discovered that this was the original one by real coincidence.

Didier :

I am happy. Comments very interesting and very instructive.

This healey is really original one.
